1. The Airplane Piano
We start with a… Special piano. Created by Olivier Colin, CEO of the Colmann brand, this piano measuring 6.5m long by 4.28m wide was designed to appear in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s largest piano.

2. The Bed Piano
Are you too lazy to get up in the morning to compose? The piano comes to you directly upon waking! More seriously, this piano was designed so that bedridden patients have an occupation during their convalescence.

3. The Most Expensive Piano in the World
2.5 million euros is the price of this crystal piano signed Kawai. It measures 2.80m and was used by the famous pianist Lang Lang during the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics. Its current owner is unknown, but with its gold soundboard and crystal body, we have no doubt that the buyer is proud of this magnificent purchase.

4. The Massage Piano
Cocorico! This piano is a French invention! Created by la volière aux pianos in Mayenne, this piano promises you relaxation and well-being; indeed, each note played releases vibrations thanks to massage balls installed in the chair, on the piano. Your head is also massaged thanks to a trumpet from which small spikes emerge. The objective? To physically feel the music and compose a great massage.

5. The Rocking Chair Piano
Designed by Sarah Davenport of Davenport Designer, this all-wood piano named “chichi” is a rocking instrument she designed following a trip to Milan for a design exhibition. She found that the creations lacked soul. It’s now exhibited at Riverside College, in Cronton in the United Kingdom.

Standing 6m tall, this Latvian piano is installed in a concert hall in Ventspils and was created by David Klavins. The artist recommends playing expressive works such as the melodies of Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, or Scriabin.
